I created these shoes for my Rocket Man interpretation final piece. After contacting the creator who made the shoes in the film Rocketman I was inspired to create my own.However with Coronavirus restictions in place this was not possible. Instead of making the shoes from scratch I painted and embellished some ready-made one using a mixture of Flexi paint and acrylic to try and create the leather effect from the originals.

Wig Styling
This wig was created for my final year Met Gala interpretation. After having a inspirational lesson by a wig stylist and makeup artist @neilamakeupartist, I wanted to try and style my own wig for this costume. An additional benefit f this would also be the time taken to style my model's hair on shoot day. This was an opportunity to expand my skill set and develop more techniques.
I have styled this human hair wig in a 1920s inspired pin curl/ slipt wave style as the outfit had a flamboyant and theatrical 1920's feel to it.
